Apprenticeship Training Schemes
Earn-while-you-learn opportunities for passing-out trainees.
Apprenticeship training is a structured programme of on-the-job training in an establishment, supplemented by related instruction. It enables ITI pass-outs to gain real industry experience while earning a stipend.
- Apprenticeship training combines on-the-job experience with structured learning under the Apprentices Act.
- Trainees who complete their NCVT trade are eligible to undertake apprenticeship in registered establishments.
- Stipends are paid to apprentices as per Government norms during the training period.
- The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) supports establishments with sharing of stipend cost.
